NFTE National Business Plan Competition 2010
Every year thousands of students across the nation who are part of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship's programs compete with their business ideas to come to New York for the OppenheimerFunds/NFTE National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge finals and a shot at $10,000 in funding.
The 2010 National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge was NFTE’s first major event featuring its new brand identity and set the standard for the organization’s future communications and marketing.
Bureau Blank worked with NFTE to implement a comprehensive communications program for the competition ranging from email and print invitations to event signage and programs.
Nia Froome was crowned champion, with Zermina Velic and Belma Ahmetovic, Crystal Vo, and Steven Gordon receiving honors. President Obama met with all five at White House to congratulate them on their accomplishments. The event and NFTE’s young entrepreneurs were featured in News Day, The Huffington Post, and other media outlets.
